I really envy visual artists. Their eyes can see what other non artists don't and their hands can create a masterpiece out of blank canvas or even garbage. Having talent in visual arts is truly a gift from God that you should share. You should make use of it to give back the glory to Him. Going to art shows is also a great way to relax for non artists. You get to see a different view of life.
There are a lot of people today who seem so interested to make visual arts. They are just so creative enough in making those various kinds arts. I am also planning to send my kid to a visual arts class so that somehow he will also be able to enhance his potential for arts. I can see how interested he is when it comes to artwork. Thanks for the post.
I really love art but art just don't love me. Back in high school, I would always let others especially those good in visual arts to make my project for me because I really don't know to draw; only stick figures. Even though I don't know how to draw but I still know how to appreciate art works. My friend who is very good in visual arts is so amazing. I really admire him.
Because you let others do your thing, you ended up not learning at all. I know that there are those well talented people whom are great in arts, especially with drawing. And who would not want to have the same talent. But for me, everything can be learned. With practice, constant serious level of practice, you can be a good artists as well. Just like those that we know very well.
I agree with Eula, that if you love something, than just go ahead and try and do not just sit back watching others who are better at it than you are. That is the great thing about art. It is an expression of you, your individuality, and you do not have a gage on you that says whether your art is good or bad. If you enjoy making it, then it is good.
