This art exhibit of Shaila Christofferson just goes to prove that one person's trash may be another person's treasure. Good artists don't see objects for what they were made for. They see objects for what they can become and transform them into such. This exhibit recycles and makes use of materials from the garbage or stuff that you just threw away because it has no more used to you. Seeing them will certainly bring back memories of how these objects were used and how they helped us in one way or another.
I really appreciate any works of art and one of these is sculptures. Christofferson’s work is really impressive because the only don't work for the purpose of creativity and art but it also depicts the culture and tradition of a place. This brings a great impact to many people who will see the art. In fact, his works seem to have its originality and uniqueness. That's the best thing of all.
I also love sculptures. I am always present if there are any event where sculptures are being showcased. By the way, thanks for sharing here those information with regards to the New Yavapai College Prescott art exhibit. I hope that I can also be able to get there and see some good works from great artists that they have in there. Thanks a lot and have a great day ahead to all.
I am so fascinated in art works specially when it comes to pottery and recycle stuffs. Sometimes we failed to realize that those stuffs we have at home are not intended to be thrown because it can be transformed to a new image. It is just a matter of creativity and uniqueness.

Hi, This exhibition of art by Shaila Christofferson only proof that a person can waste someone else's treasure. Good artists do not see objects as they were created. You can see objects as they can be transformed into such. Thanks.. |
